Ruth Ann Miller, 76, died Thursday the 21st of June at Community Heart Hospital. She was born in Kokomo, to John S. and Mary G. (Pyles) Cooper. She was married to Alfred B. Miller on December 3, 1961, in Indianapolis, and together they had five daughters.
She enjoyed playing the clarinet, crafts, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing with her beloved dogs, Scruffy and Missy.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister (Marilyn Langston) and brother (Charles). She is survived by her husband, Alfred, and daughters Mary (Pat) Hornett, Betty (Tim) Lonis, Christy (William) Hochgesang, Lori Miller, and Tiffany (Gary) Thalmann, as well as many grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at Fishers United Methodist Church. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
